I read reviews on the priginal Alpha and found a lot of people stating the negative reviews were unfair and biased. So I took a shot. I dare you to find a better pad at this price. Also found a couple of great support forums at android tablet zone and Skypad table zone.

Bought the Alpha II for my daughter and bought an Acer Iconia A100 for my wife. The Alpha II was $146 including shipping & tax from ecost. It works as good as the ACER and is lighter/ thinner. We are very pleased. She has downloaded at least 50 APPS from the real android market..games, bowling, hunting, etc and they work flawlessly. Netflix, Skpe with video and all streaming video work effortlessly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND...easy to use right out of the box. Added 32 gig micro SD...JB- ASHEVILLE North Carolina..works- connects with WIFI i

Been playing with this device for several days and find it very useful. Bluetooth would be nice but the biggest downer is not being able to get some of the apps I have on my phone because there is no access to the "Official" Android Market. Found a few work arounds but still too many of the apps I use and or have purchased are not available elsewhere.
I like the size and portability. Use an iPad for work and it's just too big to take everywhere. All in all, good product for the price that would be even better with access to the Android Market Store
